About Haralson
The Oldest City in Coweta County
Founded in 1820, the City of Haralson is located just 40-miles south of Atlanta; a few miles south of Senoia. Haralson is in southern Coweta County, with a small portion of the city in Meriwether County. Our primary roadway is GA State Route 85. We have a population of less than 200 as of 2021.
During its initial establishment, Haralson was a bustling town comprised of a doctor’s office, bank, post office, train depot and a fully functioning cotton gin. Today, the city still takes pride in maintaining its small-town roots. The citizens of Haralson take pride in the rural sense of place which makes up the character of the community.
